Dungeon Slayer

Descend the many floors of a procedurally generated dungeon in this semi-turn-based Roguelike. Explore the many environments the game has to offer, and slay the great variety of monsters held within.

Dungeon Slayer is a top-down Roguelike strategy game with infinite procedural content. Each run is different from the last and its randomness can lead to mayhem or prowess.

• Push blocks onto enemies to kill them instantly, but it also destroys anything they drop

How to play

In this game the objective is to progress as far as possible to achieve a high score. You play as a blue Orc, and you interact with the environment using the arrow keys (or ijkl).

Attacking enemies is as simple as running into them. There is a chance you will miss, and during this calculation the enemy also has a chance to hit. After receiving damage, visible by the blood on the player sprite, use a health pickup to regain 1 hp. They can be found in chests or dropped by enemies.

Certain enemies drop their weapons when killed. Pick them up to increase your attack power.

There is a chance that a locked chest will appear. The key is dropped by a guard or knight enemy. Inside is an armo(u)r pickup that negates all damage for the current and next level.

Controls:

• Arrow Keys, IJKL to move
• "O" key to open chests
• "P" key or SPACE to pickup items
• "W" key to wait a turn without doing anything
• "S" key to shoot an arrow
• "B" key to place a bomb, "D" key to detonate it
• SPACE to descend stairs to complete the level
• Hold ESCAPE for 1 second to end your run
